On Thursday, 3/26 is the highly anticipated March 4 Balance: Community Rally at Monrovia Library Park. 
The Community Rally and Resource Fair will kick-off at 6PM . There will be more 20 service providers in attendance in addition to program speakers.

Congratulations Joannie!

Every year, Congresswoman Napolitano honors  women who are nominated by volunteer organizations for exemplary service for  the  “Women of the Year”- Unsung Heroines”  ceremony. This year,  Joannie Yuille was nominated by Mayor Lutz. The award will be presented by the Congresswoman at a Luncheon on April 10, 2015 in El Monte. Congratulations Joannie!!

President Obama will be visiting Los Angeles resulting in street closures on 3/12 and 3/14. There will also be street closures on 3/15 due to Los Angeles Marathon. Stay local and explore Monrovia!

Our 2015 "March 4 Balance" Community Outreach and Education Campaign has started!!! 
If you have not been able to join the conversation as of yet we welcome you to join us today, Thursday March 5th, for our follow up planning meeting at the Monrovia Community Center (note our meeting will begin at 4:30PM).
