The 2013 Beet

J a n u a r y   4   -   1 0
Welcome, 2013!  My goals include a little more fun and we'll keep you updated her on This Week's Beet.   First, let's do a little housekeeping to launch this year on the right foot.  Click titles to learn more about these events.

Oh Christmas Tree
Out with the old.  Get your Christmas Tree out next to your trash cans for trash day.  Athens happily takes trees until Friday, January 11.  Please strip trees of ornaments, tinsel, trash bags, nails, lights and stands.

Produce in the Park
Eating healthier tops the list of annual agreements we make with ourselves in January.  Visit Produce in the Park every first Saturday of the month from 9am - 11am at Library Park to share homegrown fruits, vegetables, herbs and recipes.  Oh, did we mention it's all free?  Seriously.

Job Seekers Event
Launch this year by sharpening your skills to get the job you want or excel at the job you have.  You'll have the opportunity to learn, practice and apply!
