Monrovia has a new Holiday Tree! I don't know about you, but when the new Community Services Brochure was published, I couldn't help read the Holiday Happenings portion and think to myself "Self, what do you think they will be lighting this year for the Tree Lighting Ceremony?"  Here's our answer -

FREE Leadership Academy
Starting Thursday
Monrovia Area Partnership hosts their annual Leadership Academy starting Thursday, September 20.  This 6 week series will introduce you to city staff and officials, offer a tour of Monrovia, and teach the basics of local government and resident leadership.  All graduates of the Academy will be recognized at a City Council Meeting by City Officials and will be welcomed into the MAP, the partnership of people working together to make a difference in Monrovia.  To learn more, call Neighborhood Services at 626-205-8476 or visit the city website by clicking here.
