A delightful magic and juggling show, Jeffrey the Great will include audience participation and laughs while promoting the importance of reading.

July 26th - Afternoon Laser light show Don't miss this high-tech program featuring laser-drawn animations set to current and recent rock/pop music! All ages welcome. Glow sticks given to the first 150 people.

Free CPR Training

Thursday, June 7th 9am - 12noon
The Monrovia Fire Department would like to remind residents of the upcoming event on Thursday, June 7 from 9:00 a.m. to noon called “Sidewalk CPR Day.” That week happens to be National CPR week and in cooperation with the American Heart Association, Cities throughout the State of California will be participating in an event that teaches hands-only CPR to local residents. The Monrovia Fire Department will have a booth set-up in front of the Library in Downtown and will be using special mannequins to teach residents the life-saving technique. No special skills are required and each training session lasts about 10 minutes, providing the vital skills that could save a life.

Come on out with the entire office for a free training!

Summer Extravaganza Registration Begins
Summer Extravaganza is Monrovia's Youth Summer Programming for youth ages 6-16 and runs June 25th - August 17th at Recration Park. 
Sidewalk CPR
Two stations will be set up along Myrtle Avenue from 9a.m. to noon.  As residents walk by, they can be taught quickly and effectively the new, proper procedures for administering CPR by our Fire Department Personnel.
