Special Edition: Yard Sales

Saturday March 31st, 500-600 west block of Palm Ave will be holding 8 yard sales!

The yards on this street will be filled with plenty of discounted merchandise.  Yard Sales will approximately begin at 8:00am; get out there early and beat the crowd!

MAP's Youth Leadership Academy

Congratulations to all the youth participants who attended the MAP Leadership Youth Academy,

March 24th marked the day MAP launched it's first ever Leadership Academy classes for the youth of Monrovia. The day consisted of several neighborhood and community organizations partnering to bring together twenty-three youth to assist in furthering the development of essential leadership and problem solving skills. The Youth Academy, also provided skills to help them connect and grow within their community. The goals of the Youth Academy are to inspire youth to learn develop and grow to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Tuesday April 17th, those who participated in the Youth Academy will be recognized at a reception followed by a graduation ceremony before the City Council.

Congratulations once again to the Leaders of Tomorrow!
