Krikorian Premiere Theatres is excited to announce the return of kid's movies throughout the Summer! Every Tuesday from June 19th through August 21st, Krikorian locations will be hosting the 2012 Summer Kids Series, a 10 week series of kid's movies that are fun for the whole family. Two showings per day will be available at 10:00AM & 12:30PM.

Like Monrovia, many cities across the state are experiencing alarming increases in violent and property crimes that are affecting our safety and overall quality of life. To address this issue, during the past month, Monrovia has taken the lead in coordinating the development of the Taking Back Our Community coalition, which is aimed at amplifying our message that certain elements of AB 109, Proposition 47, and Proposition 57 have resulted in unintended adverse public safety impacts in California.
Our Taking Back Our Community coalition certainly recognizes that criminal justice system improvements in California were needed, and that AB 109, Proposition 47, and Proposition 57 instituted some positive improvements. Furthermore, we also believe that those criminals who commit non-violent crimes should not be subject to long prison sentences.

Considering the cancellation of the Holiday Parade (due to weather conditions), there will be a community Tree Lighting held in place of it at the Library Park next Wednesday, December 12 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. AND the good news is MAP will still be recognized as the Parade Grand Marshal- hooray!!!!
